And a blog begins...

Well, this is the first post of my ingeniously named blog. Seriously, I sat for way too long thinking of some witty name, but everything that came to mind seemed cheesey...so I stuck with something simple. It may change someday, but for now "Andy's Blog" will have to do.

My reason for starting a blog is to share some of the thoughts and ideas that are pulsing through my head on a variety of subjects, from reflections on life and parenting, to theology, philosophy, and politics. Quite a mix of topics, huh? My goal is to use the blog as an avenue to focus my thinking and hopefully stimulate edifying conversations with others. I have no idea how often I'll actually post new material, but I know all my adoring readers will be patient:)
